Reboot

0
So today I went to print off a document and my print function would not react. I opened the control panel and went to printers. I found that no printers were in that folder and my computer could not communicate to one of the five printers that it normally can communicate with. After a few attempts at my troubleshooting, I decided to reboot. As the computer came back on my print function now worked and all the printers could be seen by my computer once again. I found this interesting because I see spiritual life being similar. Occasionally our normal functions get a bit gummed up and we can see, can’t communicate clearly. We need to shut down and restart. Take this scripture and consider it:

Isaiah 40:28-31 “Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth does not become weary or tired His understanding is inscrutable. He gives strength to the weary, And to him who lacks might He increases power. Though youths grow weary and tired, And vigorous young men stumble badly, Yet those who wait for the LORD Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary.”

So when we feel weary and tired. Wait on the Lord. Retreat, pause, meditate, ponder, contemplate, and get strength that will allow us to run and not get weary. When we achieve a dream no matter how big or small the natural mode is to stall out, get comfortable and just kick back. Relax and let things just go on autopilot. We are closest to God when we show our dependency on Him. So reboot, get new strength and start pursuing the next God dream.

Let's be Dream achievers and then repeat as necessary.
